The design of Ommegaand originates from an 1920-era Dutch poster. In the beginning, the typeface was much wilder than the result. Ommegaand was hiding, unfinished, in the "type drawer" for far too long, but has finally been revived. Now a fully functional text family, it still has quite a bit of personality.
